print advert post-production
I then added a gradient backround, I chose this than to the original solid colour background as i didn't like how the solid colour looked and I think this is more eye-catching as well as this, it matches the blue of the NHS logo better
I then added a QR code in the bottom left as well as the words better health so people know what to search for and what campaign it is. I used a qr code in the corner so it could be quickly scanned and the people passing it and looking at it, won't have to type out a long link
I also put a good slogan in the corner, I chose the slogan I used in my concepts as I think it is snappy and memorable
this is the semi-final product and I think it turned out very well , although it wasn't to the original vision i feel like the changes I made were necessary and made the final product turn out better. Radio Advert
After that I added some music in the background, I was originally going to go with a track called wistfully happy because it went well with the advert and matched the overall vibe I was going with it however in the end I decided to use happy kite as I feel it worked better as a whole for the advert as well as being nice and calm.
I also matched the audio recording volume to the music so the music wasn't too loud to the point where you cant hear what is being said however it can still be heard.
I then exported it and uploaded it to youtube this is how it turned out. I think it is really good and is good quality for a radio advert
Print Advert feedback and changes
I made a survey for my print advert to get an idea of what the audience likes and disliked about the advert as well as getting advice on how to improve
The first question I asked was "what did you like about the image" I got a variation of responses which basically show what I did well with the advert and don't need to improve or at least make drastic changes to it
The second question I asked was "what could be improved about the image" the things that stood out to me the most was that I need to add more fruit for more variation, add and actual better help logo and that I need to fix my spelling on the advert which I hadn't noticed until it was brought up tome in audience research.
Finally I asked if the advert does its purpose which is persuading people to eat healthy and thankfully majority of the audience says that it does encourage them to eat healthier.
With this information I started making necessary changes to the print advert according to the feedback that I received.
Final product print advert
I took the advice that I got from the audience feedback and applied it to this print advert. I added more fruit other than the apple and made sure to use colourful fruit such as an orange and a strawberry, I fixed the spelling mistake in the advert. I also added the better help logo in the corner to give more brand recognition. Overall I think the print advert has turned out well despite not being exactly to my original vision, in fact I think its better than my original vison
Radio advert feedback and changes
For the radio advert I needed a more direct and detailed set of criticism so I decided to do a focus group. In this focus group I showed the audience my advert and asked for their opinion.
majority of the people in the focus group make note of the fact i took a breath before finishing my sentence which leaves a massive and noticeable pause in the advert which ruins the flow of it, i will make note of this when making finishing touches
This is the final product of the radio advert, I fixed the main issue with the advert itself which was a pause I took which makes the advert run much more smoothly and overall the advert is the best quality i can make it
